Messrs. DELCO REMY & HYATT,

LONDON S.W.1.

Attention of Mr. B. Rushton.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to the three 4-cylinder vacumatic type distributors which you kindly made up for us some time ago, we have completed bench tests and find them quite satisfactory.

However, on submitting them to our Design Department for detailing on an engine of the future, they find that, in order to fit them, three simple modifications will be necessary:

1. The relative position of the vacumatic control connection to that of the high tension lead outlets in the cover.

2. The vernier adjustment has been reduced in proportion.

3. The union on the Vacumatic control has been treated in detail, to receive 1/4" diam. pipe with standard olive union.

An explanatory drawing has been made which we append for your consideration.

We wondered whether it would be possible for the three distributors now in our possession to be altered accordingly.

We should be grateful for your advice regarding the above.

Yours faithfully,
