20-HP Chassis. 59-S-6.

We send you herewith for your inspection and comment a Dynamo No. 208, which has been removed from the above chassis by 'N' Dept. and returned to us for inspection and report.

The cause of the failure is obviously due to the positive brush sticking up and arcing on the commutator. The heat generated has caused the solder to melt out of the commutator and has put the dynamo out of action.

We shall be glad if you will let us have your report upon this failure and recommendations respecting charges.
