(1) ABOLITION OF 'C' COLUMN ON EAC.2. X8430
It was pointed out that with revised pedals the driver has been moved bodily towards the dash 2 3/4" in the case of 'D' and 1 3/4" in the case of 'C'. Thus the revised 'D' steering provides a body space equivalent to the existing 'C', and it was suggested by EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} that the new 'C' was therefore not required. It was thought however that to retain the 'C' steering was necessary, not on account of body space but on account of the fact that certain drivers want to sit higher than 'D', yet not so high as 'B'.

(2) REAR UPSWEEP OF FRAME - EAC.2. X9390
The heelboard in its rearmost position is 8 1/4" to 9" in front of the axle. It would therefore be a great advantage on EAC.2. frame to move the upsweep at least 1" towards the rear, and more if possible to prevent the wooden runners from being either cut in two or protruding through the floor.

(3) TAIL LAMP - 20.HP. X4090
N.sch. 1751. was thought to be quite satisfactory and has now been sent for experiment.

(4) LANDAULETTE ON BODY UNDERFRAME AT BARKERS. X5730
The chassis and frame have not yet arrived. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} agreed that it was hopeless to attempt to build an existing body on to this frame. As soon as the coachbuilders receive the chassis the matter will be gone into again.

(5) 20.HP. - SPARE WHEEL AT THE REAR. X4085
It was agreed to be impossible to slope this wheel to miss the hoods of all bodies, and that the present arrangement whereby the wheel is removed to the side under such circumstances was considered to be advisable.

(6) HEELBOARD-REAR SEATS- 20.HP. Y4270
It was agreed that when the heelboard required to be so far back that it would normally foul the propeller shaft and universal joint, that a sloping heelboard either locally or across the whole length of the rear seat should be used. This could be avoided by raising the floor 3/4". The protruding of the runners and frame into the floor of the rear seats could be avoided by moving the upsweep of the frame towards the axle. Both of these latter considerations we will remember in connection with future design.
