Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} 2/KT. 9. 6. 33.

You will remember that when we were at Brooklands recently with Mr. R.{Sir Henry Royce} Richards we were discussing going over to the "Tourists Trophy Race" in the Isle of Man.

I understand that a Junior Race is on Wednesday the 12th. inst., and the Senior Race on Friday the 14th. Two of us are thinking of going over and we should naturally like to learn as much as we can while we are there. Mr. R.{Sir Henry Royce} Richards also said that we should possibly be able to get a passengers seat during a practice run.

I expect your brother knows all the "ins and outs" of the racing there. Could you ask him to let me have as much information as he can about it, including when it will be necessary to be there in order to get a run round the course, also the most satisfactory method of getting to the Isle of Man. Such information would be very helpful.

At the moment we are thinking of going over either early Wednesday or Thursday morning.

We are still anxious to try the Alfa Romeo and Essex Terraplane at Brooklands should you be able to arrange it at any time.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}
