X1775. Dear R.M. As no doubt you will have seen from my wire I am away on holiday & received your letter too late to be v.{VIENNA} helpful I'm afraid. I hope however you will have been able to fix up as you wanted. My brother Eric is a v.{VIENNA} good friend of this Coy & really would be only too pleased to help all he could. I know he hopes to have a Bentley later on, & would be only too glad to be instrumental in helping it on. Don't hesitate to get into touch with him direct at any time you think he might be able to manage any trial for of other type cars for you. Motoring is only a hobby with him but he is very keen & as an official of the J.C.C. & member of B.R.D.C. he does meet a good many of the sporting & racing car fraternity. He is pretty busy with his business & I think if you want to try a car it will be best to write him saying can he arrange it for me in two days? If you leave the date entirely open he probably will forget & to manage it. He is a bad correspondent & telephone is really the best way of getting at him & perhaps a note later on to confirm. | ||
