Returned faulty ignition coils with short circuits and other available primary coils.

X4653 We send you herewith the following ignition coils which have been returned faulty and have been found to have short circuits in their secondary windings.- Chassis 59-CL - Coil number WH-65. 12 months service. Chassis GFN-20 - Coil number B-6-C. 8 months service. Chassis 23-DC - Coil number G-2-W.X. 15 months service. The following finer primary coils have also been returned and these are available if you wish to have them. Will you please let us know immediately, as otherwise they will be stripped. Chassis 80-UF - Coil number MP-25.X. " 14-FH - " " XD-95. " 16-AL - " " GW-55. " 31-RF - " " LP{Mr Lappin}-95. } 40/50. " 41-RF - " " LP{Mr Lappin}-85. " 22-FH - " " YE-35. " 80-LF - " " RJ-65. " 17-FH - " " ZD-85. " GRJ-54 - " " Q-9-K.{Mr Kilner} } 20-HP. This means a total of 96 finer primary coils returned faulty since January 1929. Will you please arrange for prompt examination of the 3 coils sent as it is necessary for the core, case, etc. to be rewound for repair purposes as quickly as possible.
