W/S Og. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X8990 EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}7/H19.5.25. re. New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I Chassis for Australia. With reference to your telephone message that you were about to send a New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I Chassis to Australia, we understand that you telephoned up this morning as you had heard that the pistons were to be changed. We confirm having informed you that we had no instructions regarding the fitting of any different pistons on the New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I Chassis from those fitted on this chassis and on all other chassis now going through. We mentioned this matter to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and he confirms the above, and states that the pistons fitted are the best we know of at present. EP.{G.
