Bentley / Mr Barrington} c. to EH. c. to EFC. X.3572 - RE "GOSHAWK" MAIN OIL FEED AND OTHER DETAILS. Please find attached drawing No. LeC.1083 dealing with the above. We shew the main oil pipe secured to the crankcase by hollow bolts. This method supersedes that shewn on drawing No. LeC.1078. Would you kindly proceed with the details as far as you are able to for the crankcase & fittings. We shall send you the remaining information required, as early as possible. We would draw your attention to a point on this drawing in connection with the crankshaft and flywheel flanges. Mr Royce wishes an equal amount of surface of the taper bolt to be devoted to each of the flanges. This requires that the dimensions shall be approximately as shewn. Shn. E | ||
