For the attention of Mr. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} W. Hives

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 30th inst. and are glad to note that the KR4 plugs have run satisfactorily for 80 hours. We think it would be advisable to continue your test on these plugs for at least 100 hours, at the end of which time we should be glad to have the opportunity of examining them.

With reference to the further 2 Dozen KR4 plugs, these are now well in hand, and we hope to be able to despatch them towards the end of this week.

Yours faithfully,

THE LODGE SPARKING PLUG CO. LTD,
Bernard Hopps
DIRECTOR
