The position with regard to the latest O.S. petrol pump is not too good. There have been many cases of the modified pumps having to be returned for leaks. This is chiefly due to the flanges of the pots not having been thoroughly cleaned after fitting the new diaphragm. The other features are insufficient delivery, and petrol leaks from the cap plugs.
