5. Front apron.

The front apron which should have been to PD.255 was incorrect, an old type apron being sent down by mistake. We propose Messrs.Park Ward should make them, and we are sending down the detail drawing FB.4147.


The following chassis troubles were found and corrected:-

Steering Column.

The steering column height from the level top of frame was incorrect, it is important that chassis going to Messrs.Park Ward should be correct as it effects the cushion depth.

Exhaust System.

Brackets that carried the old type exhaust system were still on the chassis and fouled the body crossmembers, these were sawn off.

Dashboard Mounting.

The silent bloc mounting on the dashboard was found to be broken, the silent bloc having come unwelded from its anchoring flange, these were re-welded effectively.
