Engineer} re QUARTERLY COMPLAINTS. STEERING KNOCKS. Phantom III. -------------------- We notice you have attended to 10 Phantom III cars during the last Quarter owing to a complaint of a knock in the steering, and you appear only to have dressed out the rear end of the side steering tube. We shall be interested to receive a little further information as to exactly what you did and whether this overcame the noise. If you get another complaint of the same thing we would like to send you a complete new side steering tube so that the one on the car can be returned to us for examination. We shall be glad to have your comments on the foregoing. [Handwritten signature/squiggle] Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SBS | ||
