To DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} c. to Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}1/KT.28.10.31. x599~ 25 HP. CAR FOR 'R'. With reference to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/M26.10.31., we have ordered two sets of 18" rims as requested, and have asked Dunlops to send the first completed set (before enamelling) direct to Park Wards. Perhaps you will inform Park Wards of this. Referring to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/M26.10.31. we despatched last week as requested a complete set of instruments ('U' series standard) to Park Wards for 20.G.IV. You now ask us to send a set of instruments with Venetian cream dials. We would point out that it will be at least three weeks before these can be obtained from the makers and that the cost will be at least 5/- extra per instrument. In addition we consider we ought if possible to use standard instruments, originally we had cream dials which were condemned by Sales; the set of instruments despatched last week are the correct ones for the car with the exception of the telegauge, this instrument is on the chassis GFT-102; the man who delivered the chassis explained to the coachbuilders.
