Burt - Engineer}27.I.38 Re: CHASSIS B.35.KU - 1938 PARIS TRIALS CAR With reference to the crankshaft which we removed from the above chassis and on which we have since had the main journals re-ground to .010" u/s and the shaft re-nitrided by Messrs. Aubert & Duval, the above firm have informed us that, after re-nitriding, the hardness of the case was 650 Vickers/Brinell. We spoke about the above with GWH.{George W.
