Dear Sirs,

We are proposing to use two of your Silent Bloc Bearings, No.E.1241, Code "Inhale", for a piece of apparatus which we are constructing.

Since this bearing is asterisked in your list we should like your advice as to its suitability, the conditions under which it will operate are as follows:-

Total rotation of bearing - 60°.
Static load on bearing - negligible, say 15 lbs.
Maximum shock load on bearing - 900-950 lbs.

Should you consider this bearing suitable we should like you to forward two such bearings to us, on receipt of which we will send you an official order for same.

We should appreciate an early reply to this query.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
