-2- Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., In this table we take the ascertained viscosity of each oil at 70°F.{Mr Friese} + 100 and we show percentage of viscosity at 120, 140, and 180°F.{Mr Friese} in relation to its initial viscosity. Judged by this test you will observe that while "C" offers the advantage of greater fluidity at 70°F.{Mr Friese} it retains the highest percentage of viscosity at 180°F.{Mr Friese} The lower initial viscosity renders it less liable to set at normal temperatures, say at the starting of the engine, while it retains rather a higher percentage viscosity than either "A" or "B" at 180°F.{Mr Friese} which may be attained in the crank chamber when the engine is at work. We send you in the first place 8-ozs. of "B" and of "C" for inspection and we enclose a note of current prices for these. We shall be glad to send you larger samples for trials should you desire them. We are, Yours truly, Prices' Company Limited, (Sgd.) J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Veitch Wilson | ||
