During the Sahara crossing the shock damper and roll-bar ball anchorage, ^FIG. I became slack on both sides. The 5/16" pinch bolt does not seem to be adequate and a 3/8" bolt would undoubtedly make a stronger job. The Engine ran like the proverbial "bird," and apart from the slow running air-bleed becoming clocked with sand which upset the running at low speeds, nothing had to be touched.
