-> S/W. e.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} to PN.{Mr Northey} ---- Y7120. C10/C15.11.30. Re 26-EX. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/MJ25.10.30. I understand you still have these springs at Derby. I have consulted with PN.{Mr Northey} and we cannot quite understand why you are advocating changing the springs. Sa. used this car in Spain and it has been used in various other parts of Europe and in England, and so far as I can understand there has been no complaint about the springing being too weak. The car is now out in Switzerland and is going to Brusels, so that we propose leaving this matter over until it returns to see if we receive any complaints of the springing. Naturally we do not want to go to the expense of changing the springs if itis not necessary, C. | ||
