25 HP. REAR SHOCK DAMPERS.

Standardisation sheets are now in circulation, and production are starting to make the parts for the J.III type shock dampers and the support brackets on the 25 HP. chassis.

No tests have been done with these support brackets and dampers on a 25 HP. chassis. We recently asked you to produce the rear damper brackets R.R.Sch.278 for the bumper, and we then intended to use existing shock dampers. Since then we have had three bad cracks in the casing of the dampers on the rear of the Peregrine bumper. In consequence we have altered the casing of the rear Peregrine dampers deleting the steel distance pieces between the damper cradle and the damper. The same casing is used on the rear of the 25 HP. dampers. So we should like a pair of the latest production type rear dampers issued under BY/HEB{H. Biraben}17/M8.2.33. for use with R.R.Sch.278 on the 25 HP. bumper chassis.

We shall also have to fix up one of our 25 HP. cars with these dampers so as to give production setting etc. Will you therefore please produce a complete set of dampers for 19-G-IV.
