Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} c. HRC. ______ Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/R.13.1.39. Attached is the weight of the Wraith Replace- ment chassis, compared with the existing Wraith chassis. We anticipate that the material cost of the Wraith Replacement will be very nearly the same as that of Bentley III if both are fitted with 6-cylinder engines. It is, therefore, satisfactory to note that 1 cwt. has been saved, and, at the same time, a reduction in material cost of £85, or 33% has been achieved. Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} | ||
