We should like to draw attention to the uncomfortable heat of the accelerator pedal during a long run in the hot weather. A fibre pad fitted would not interfere with the gliding motion and would prevent the hot spot feeling on the driver's foot. The springs at this mileage do not show any signs of failure. They have been free from squeaks. The riding qualities, with the attention given to the dampers, is very steady. The buffers are hit occasionally, but with no solid feeling. The spring clips fitted holding the bijur pipe is satisfactory. REAR ROAD SPRINGS. N.S. O.S. Drawing No. F.79439. F.79439. The springs at this mileage do not show any signs of failure. They have not been dismantled for examination. We have not had any squeaks. The riding qualities after attention to the dampers, is considered to be good. The buffers which had been hit frequently, and hard, is now occasional and lighter. The spring clips holding the bijur pipe are satisfactory. PETROL TANK to LOP.80833. With the fitting of the petrol pump, we get a partial failure of supply when near the reserve amount.
