2 Engines to Run at 1000 HP. - Kestrel engines nos. 25 & 27 are still being used for over-load tests up to 1,000 HP. Exp.LV. new engine is still waiting for new cylinders. Tests are being carried out on the Single Cylinder Unit to improve the valves and valve seats.

Peregrine Generally. - We have now two Peregrine cars running with two alternative schemes of oil cooler. One is the scheme designed by E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} which has special tubes incorporated in the matrix, the other car is fitted up with a Harrison type cooler which is standard on all General Motors cars. Tests are being carried out on Brooklands today to prove the efficiency of these coolers.
