Re. Woodhead Road Springs. - We have sent in a report on these ref: Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}6/MJ.23.5.33.

Re. 3½ Litre Bentley. - The engines in No.3 Bentley and on the test bed are running with the buttons in the ends of the piston pins. Tests have been carried out at high speeds on the bed and there have been no failures.

Higher Axle Ratio - "We think this should be deleted from the minutes.

Intake Silencer - Tests have been completed and a satisfactory intake silencer is available for Bentley. The design details have not yet been issued.

Engine Finish - Nothing has yet been done re. the alternative finish for Bentley engine. One reason for this is that we have not yet received the final carburetters from the S.U. Company.

General Position - The third Bentley car is now running on the road and we expect to have the fourth chassis completed before Whitsun. Cars Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4 will require modifications to be brought up to date with such parts as rear axle etc. We have received reports from KP. and Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} on the Bentley car.

P.11. Boring out Cylinders - Phantom 11 tests are still proceeding on the bed with the larger bore P.11. engine unit.

Automatic Control to Shock Dampers. - 18-G4. car has now completed 5,000 miles in France with the shock absorbers as instructed for "Z" Series.

Road Wheels. Rudge Whitworth. - Rudge Whitworth have supplied us with a further set of wheels to a modified design. These will be fitted to the next Bentley car to go to France.
