WST X6120. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} c - Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY/RDL/W.26-11-31. Re :- 20/25 H.P. and 40/50 H.P. - Ignition Distributor - It is desired to try a set of stationary high tension contacts in the distributor, and a rotor blade, with a revised combination of metals, i.e. brass and nickel, and we send you herewith blue prints of :- D.73424 - Stationary H.T.Contact. 6 off. D.50752.- Rotor Blade. 1 off. Will you please have one set put in hand and the points fitted to a distributor head D.71005 (standard production part) and the rotor blade to a rotor D.71423 (standard production part) enabling these parts to be tested in the Experimental Department. In going back to pure nickel for the rotor blade we would point out that we used this material for a considerable time previous to the present standard material of stainless steel. BY/RD.
