Re Shock Absorbers and new type of Road Spring - X 189

Mr Haldenby        28-2-13

In furtherance to our memo AW/SM/18/O 20213, below is a copy of memo from Mr Hadin (N5/LC27213).

"I have received a note from Mr "Platford reading as follows:-

" Mr Royce suggests that we try to "avoid further use of shock absorbers for "the grasshopper springs and fit springs "to our cars, which do not have grease "between the leaves, in fact, if possible, "are in a rusty condition or in a similar "condition as they will eventually get "into.

" I therefore suggest that the Experi- "mental Dept. should run all their cars "without shock absorbers in order that "we may obtain some results and report "on same to Mr Royce."

Will you please deal with the above.
