TUBE CARRYING BATTERY.

The above tube on the car which Mr. Royce was using in the South of France has broken close to the bracket which is brazed on to it which carries the battery box.

I would like you to examine the material close to the fracture to see if any burning has taken place during the brazing operation or whether it is merely the softening which has reduced the strength below a safe margin.
