RE CHANGEOVER SWITCH FOR BENTLEY.

In accordance with memo By/RD.3/B.22.3.39 two ignition coils were connected as suggested with the exception that an HT. switch was not inserted in the circuit; the HT. lead from coil to distributor being placed into each coil in turn to effect the change-over.

No noticeable diminution of output was found in either case, and no other ill effects were to be found.

We recommend, therefore, that a combined HT. and LT. switch be now obtained in order that the arrangement may be tried out on an experimental car.
