URGENT.

Phantom III.

Two Carburetter Down Draught Induction System.

We send you herewith LeC.4719 of experimental four port down draught induction pipes to fit on to the existing cylinder heads for the above engine.

As shown these pipes can be fitted with two separate down draught carburetters but they are also suitable for use with the Duplex Carburetter with the modified throttle body to LeC 4722, which has already been instructed.

It will be necessary to blank off part of that half of the induction pipe which is carried in the cylinder head, as shown.

The mixing chambers are water heated and connections will have to be rigged up for taking the water from the top water rail into the jackets and out from the jackets to the suction side of the pump.

We should be pleased if you would send a print of this LeC to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} in addition to the usual prints.

E/PSN.

Att: LeC.4719.
