Messrs.Joseph Lucas Ltd.,
Great King Street,
BIRMINGHAM, 19.

For the attention of Mr.L.G.Toulmin.

Dear Sir,

We beg to refer you to the two special ammeters which you have submitted for our tests. These ammeters had modifications to the movement to enable them to be used with voltage regulators without appreciable needle oscillation.

We have tested these ammeters with a dynamo and regulator and we confirm that these ammeters are a distinct improvement over the standard article.

Before making any further comments or tests we should appreciate a letter from you giving us details of the modifications you have found necessary to improve the needle damping.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
