576. X7960. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re 104-MY. Steering. Sgl6/E19.12.33 Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}E.BY. Referring to my car which, as you know, is fitted with the Marles steering, I was under the impression that none of the officials at S., who had tried the car, were very pleased with it. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} used the car this last week-end and the following is an extract from his note to me on the subject: "I was particularly struck with the steering of your car 104-MY when driving it this last week-end. It struck me as being ideal for the owner-driver, as the effort required to steer that car is no more than for the 20/25, in fact I think it was actually less than the car I habitually drive, GAW-3. It seemed to be entirely free from road shocks, and altogether made driving the car, from the steering point of view, very delightful". I was speaking to Bm. about it and he tells me that he also thought the steering was very good on this car. It looks therefore as if we ought not to neglect this matter. Sg.{Arthur F.
