magneto is definitely established particularly as it embodies several features which we consider are superior to the B.T.H. construction e.g. internal L.T. connection, bronze endplate for contact breaker bearing and improved screening. Also the pair of Watford aero magnetos we used on an "R" development engine, apart from some screws which were not properly locked working loose, functioned OK without a hitch and were in splendid condition after a gruelling at 3500 (engine rpm)!
Mr. Allen of North and Sons Ltd is very willing to experiment with and endeavour to incorporate on these magnetos any feature we
