Bentley.

During the endurance on B-3 unit in conjunction with the Le Mans race 2 inlet valve stems have broken off at the valve retaining ring groove.

It has been decided to use Ke.965 material in place of V.SLD as is standard for the inlet valve, having a considerably greater impact strength.

Will you please produce 2 sets of inlet valves in Ke.965 otherwise to EX.20968, 1 set for the head Z.20943 which is to be fitted to B-21 and 1 set for the head KX.22594 which is being made for a tryout.
