We give below list (complete) of modifications to be incorporated on the above;- 1. Special Petrol Tank including Camlock filler caps for filler & breather - instructed under code B.520 caps to be made to seal very easily. 2. 2 Gallon oil tank on Dash with Camlock filler cap. Instructed under code B521 3. Special instrument board support to suit fitting of oil tank. 4. Act. rod through Dash to operate tap on oil tank. 5. Straight through Exhaust pipe 2.750 dia bore without expansionbox - RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 75. Exhaust manifold. Pipe to be lagged the whole of the distance. Pipe must not incline down to the ground. 6. Special light Rear road springs. Understand from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} those already fitted O.K. 7. Alum. front brake drums and modified front brakes to N.S.4798. Instructed under Code B.491/8 A front Axle to be prepared ready for fitting, pending O.K. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 8. Alum Rear brake drums to NS.{Norman Scott}4796 instructed under code B.491/8 To be prepared ready for fitting, pending O.K. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 9. Cooling louvres to be cut in the top of the bonnet. Overhaul to match flush and prevent wedging on brackets through flexing. 10. All Petrol pipe lines to be inspected and annealed. 11. A second Petrol pump to be fitted on the dash - the pump to be fitted with a flexible pipe, taped or wired to the air silencer. 12. Magnesium dashboard to be fitted. continued | ||
