1336. 10th November 1937. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}9/AP. P.Worth Esq., The India Tyre & Rubber Company, Ltd., Inchinnan, SCOTLAND Dear Mr.Worth, Thank you for your letter of the other day. As you say, I think it will be best if, for the time being, we stick to the latest variety of 6 1/2 X 17 silent tyre with the thin central rib. Could you, therefore, let us have some shorter designation for this tyre so that when we order further supplies everyone will know what it means. In view of your other remarks, might we ask whether the Patents you have in mind are in connection with the new Michelin tyre.? If you have any information about this 'Pilot' tyre we should be pleased to hear what you think of it. Yours sincerely, | ||
