Chronos Works,
North Circular Road,
London, N.W.2.

For the attention of Mr. H.R. Buckland.

Dear Sir,

Many thanks for your letter of the 20th instant regarding speedometer and speedometer cables. We are satisfied with your explanation regarding the speedometer and also in regard to the question of tallow in the cable.

We note that you have experimented considerably on the Jaeger side in respect to effecting a reduction in noise in the speedometer cable and we hope that you will now take an interest in the A.T. side. Will you therefore, please send us a sample Bentley speedometer specially covered with a heavy rubber covering upon receipt of which we will carry out tests accordingly.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
