SEDANCA AND COUPE BODIES.

We see no objection to mounting the body solid on the first 2 brackets from the dashboard with this type of body.

We have tried this out on 37-EX with Sedanca body fitted and find it is an improvement, and steadies the scuttle considerably, without having any effect in increasing tyre noise.

We have experienced trouble with the body tail brackets on 35-EX, the bolts dropping out. There is considerable sideways movement on the tail of the P.III and these two brackets have quite a lot of work to do.

We have previously had this trouble on the P.III which ran to Kenya, it has also been a service complaint.

We attach sketch showing rear cross member F.88167 the long .25" bolts were found broken off at the base of the nuts. Also on 35-EX.
