Once the correct mixture for silencer explosions is obtained on a Silver Ghost, the explosions are equally as violent and numerous as on a Phantom under similar conditions.

It was noticed on a Silver Ghost that to produce explosions a richer mixture is required at slow speeds than at higher speeds; the higher the coasting speed, the weaker the mixture required.

This was not found to be the case on the Phantom.
