(16) The point was raised with regard to the location of the bakelite moulding on the pump body insofar that this piece is not spigoted. Mr Kent says they have had no trouble with the present method of location which depends upon the fixing screws, but they have recently arranged on production that a ring jig is used for positioning the moulding when tightening the screws. They agree, however, that if any difficulty should result with the present design in this respect they can incorporate some more definite form of spigot or location of this part.

In conclusion we believe the above covers all the points discussed with regard to questions of design, and we will send you a print as soon as possible of the revised lid{A. J. Lidsey} with fuse, and two sets of parts for rigging up two pump units for test will be finished off and sent to you at the earliest possible moment.

Yours faithfully,

For and on behalf of
ROLLS-ROYCE Limited
