UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW

to the Principal!
I'll invite him in while a test is going on & knock off the silencer & give him some idea of what a noise can be like!
After obtaining representative diagrams with the standard system & becoming familiar with the engine I shall cut the manifold and use two separate branches & see what can be done to improve matters.
I'll let you know as soon as I get reliable data.
I would be interested to hear if you have made a model of your new engine with the OHV Inlet & side exhaust, & if so, how it is performing.
I presume you still have the O.H.C. model on which you can try out a system when I get a good one.
I am missing my car already & I dont see much prospect of having it on the road before July.
Yours faithfully
John C. Morrison.
