Dear Mr. Robotham, As you know, we are preparing for "The Automobile Engineer" a technical discussion of the Mark V Bentley chassis, and Mr. Fisher, the editor, in going through the blue prints you have been good enough to send me, discovers that the section of the gear box is of the direct drive top gear design. I imagine you would prefer us to illustrate the latest indirect top gear box and if so, we should prefer that course, and I should be much obliged if you could have this particular blue print sent along as quickly as possible.
