12th January, 1939.

My dear Grylls,

You will recollect that some little time ago, I believe in November last, I forwarded some details of cup and cone bearings as made by the New Departure people in the States for hub positions. Since this date more information has come to hand, details of this being shown on Sheet 1.B. series C. copy of which I enclose herewith for your interest, and if I can augment this information I shall be only too glad to do so on receipt of your request, and you will note that on this sheet we have indicated some details as to capacity, while I believe you have details of the cars to which the various sizes are fitted.

I trust you are in the best of health etc., and hope in the near future to find some time to come over and have another chat with you.

Kindest regards,

Yours sincerely,
pp. F.{Mr Friese} O.{Mr Oldham} Hickling
