R.R. 285A (100 T) (S.H. 798, 10-12-20) G 2947 Contd. -2- EFC2/16.10.21. satisfactorily; the remaining three of these four are available for other purposes. From the tests we have made, therefore, it is clear that the Bleriot Phi cutout, if correctly set, is a good and reliable cutout. It is understood from Mr.Hives that you have in mind the possibility of using this cutout on the Goshawk chassis. It will no doubt be possible to get the makers to set these more exactly in accordance with our specification before delivering to us - in any case we must not have the feature of the chattering round about the cutting-in point. At the present moment the Rotax A.T.4 dynamo is being fitted to the Experimental Goshawk II chassis and the Bleriot Phi cutout will be fitted to operate in conjunction therewith. EFC. | ||
