I do not think, however, it is necessary to run it at less than 1500 revs. or to use much lower compression, but these are the directions in which one would naturally go to increase the reliability. In this case the petrol consumption would be of no moment.

I have sent a copy of this memo to BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} that they may contribute their views on the matter. Really, unless we have further time to spend, I shall look to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} to make a suggestion of the figures we may offer to undertake.
