1153 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/MH.{M. Huckerby} 11th. March, 1940. M.W.M.Thomas, Esq., Messrs. Wolseley Motors Ltd., Ward End, BIRMINGHAM, 8. Dear Mr. Thomas, We have done a certain amount of analysis on the Cotal box you so kindly loaned to us, and are now proposing to carry out some tests. For certain reasons of convenience and economy, we find that it is easiest for us to use the smallest box which exists. I understand that you have a smaller size and should this be so, I would be very glad if you would let me have the necessary outline drawing so that we can see if it will go into the vehicle which we have in mind for test. Possibly, you could also let us have the maximum torque curves which the box is supposed to be able to handle. Should we find that this box suits us, will it be possible to obtain a sample one for test? If so, we should, of course, return to you the unit you have kindly loaned us. We still hope that you will be able to come and see us before long. Yours sincerely, | ||
