To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} re Bentley 10,000 Miles Test. 4-B-IV. In two of the Reports which I have seen to-day Hancock comments on the excessive wear of the brakes and says that all the adjustment has been taken up after about 4,000 miles. According to a former list dated the 16th May the material is FB4A material. I should like to know whether this/is the material a supply of which was recently sent to K.{Mr Kilner} for fitting in the case of one or two complaints. If so, it does not read very well from the point of view of wear or squeaks. I should like to have your comments. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
