6.B.IV - Bentley.

Will you please carry out the following work on this car as soon as possible.

(1) Fit Girling rear axle and parts.
(2) Line rear brakes with Ferodo R.U.
(3) Remove races from front hubs. Soak drums for 20 hours at 230°C. Fit new liners, interference .026 - .030.
(4) Increase thickness of steering column flange to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/PJH. instructions.
(5) Remove Armstrong front shock dampers and fit standard front dampers with governor control working in conjunction with hand control to Armstrong rear dampers.
(6) Fit oil temperature thermometer in delivery pipe from oil pump.
(7) Fit rubber mounting to petrol pump and modify position to allow air bottles to clear seat board.
(8) Fit Clayton car heater supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.
(9) Repair dent in bonnet caused by broken fan. Remove Widney hinge and hand to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. for anti-rust treatment by makers.
(10) Fit new combined fan bracket and raised torque arm in Alum. Bronze (existing) and new fan (standard production).
(11) New Mk.VI radiator matrix supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.
(12) Fit clutch servo as on B-23-AE.
