Dear Mr.Robotham,

tThank you so much for your personal letter of the 17th instant and it is a relief to me to know that I have not personally offended in any way. I can face up to the bitter disappointment of possible loss of business relationship - so long as there is no loss of friendship.

I can now also sense the view point of your Company as dictated by its experience with a kindred licence problem, and as both Mr.Wickman and myself have always felt that mutual satisfaction is essential to happy business relationships (and certainly desire no other) I have taken steps to eliminate this particular difficulty.

As I think you will appreciate, I also loathe discussions on financial matters!

With personal regards,
Yours sincerely,
Edgar de Normanville.

W.A.Robotham,Esq.,
