Recent alterations to the Wraith III model which have delayed production and affected costs.

WRAITH III.

Recent alterations which have delayed production and seriously affected tool manufacture and costs.

(1) Modification to Bumper Brackets (Instructed May 9th.)

26 Sets of Rear Crossmember parts including Assembling Jigs are at Messrs. Rubery Owens.

This alteration will seriously delay the the production of FRames after the show chassis have been built.

(2) Alteration to Petrol Tank Vent Pipe & Fittings. (Instructed May 5th.)

6 Tanks complete.

30 Tanks all folded and pierced.

19 of these have fittings all rivetted and sweated on.

All piercing tools advanced and almost ready for delivery. from Briggs Body Co. [Handwritten note: What gauge has been settled finally for the tanks.]

(3) Carburetters.

16 Carburetters have been delivered. It is understood these will have to be returned to makers for modification to Throttle Spindle etc.

(4) Silencer. [Handwritten note above: Wyman]

Recent modifications to Silencers have caused excessive tool alterations. [Handwritten note over text: Piercing Tubes. Can we reduce the gauge.]

(5) Side Steering Tube. [Handwritten note: Fit the original scheme]

Instructions received to Hold Up on Springs and Ball Pads on May 12th.

Approximately 20 sets of parts made.
