Investigation into Bearings & Cyl bore wear We have at great cost developed a new bearing alloy. In the process, as was to be expected, we have had troubles with bearings on production. On B IV & Wraith evidence shows that we are clear of such trouble. Additionally we have dozens of people throughout the Country testing out our bearing alloy experimentally. E.R.A's find it is the only thing that will stand up to their power output. Leyland have standardised it on their latest jobs. Bristols have given it an excellent report.
