contd :- -2- spare oil tank as 40/50 HP. (convinced him this was not R-R fitting). Oil leak from pump (made right somewhere in France) - slack in transmission - complained to Wright, still there and seems to be in wheel drivers - N.S. rear wheel/pouring out of drum - I noticed this. There is a complaint of poor brakes. Louvres or shutters wanted in scuttle - he thought it was R-R job. I told him he can get top one from London - advised him to have side and top ventilators fitted on scuttle. Certainly his car wants an overhaul - more than I can do. Radiator shutters - he thought they ought to open 90º - sticking when opened. I took these down and dismantled them and they were full up with dirt - bearings etc. made O.K. - re-fitted.
